The Opportunity

Due to our continued success, we are growing our Testing functional capability in order to better support our customers that are primarily located in the Berkshire & East Midlands areas.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Testing, this role involves the management and delivery of NFR IT Test projects as part of a Digital Transformation programme


  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to produce approved key Test deliverables: NFR Test Strategy, NFR Phase Plan and Schedule, Test Reporting, Test Completion Report;
  • Govern vendor NFR test delivery (sign-off plans/approach/reporting/completion);
  • Manage a small/medium team of NFR test professionals (on-shore/near-shore/off-shore);
  • Manage Test Project dependencies: Environment specification, test data, resources, tools, scenarios etc.;
  • Ensure functional requirements traceability to E2E tests (SIT/E2E/UAT);
  • Manage and effectively communicate associated NFR test project risks, dependencies, issues, assumptions and constraints;
  • Oversee effective NFR defect management (logging, triage, reporting, fix, re-test, sign-off);
  • Produce of oversee timely, accurate and complete NFR test reporting;
  • Deliver innovation benefits via automation/AI tooling;
  • Participate in programme/project governance for NFR programme and Go/No-go meetings.


The Person

  • A proven track record of the successful delivery of large-scale NFR test projects in previous telco domains to challenging deadlines;
  • Extensive Enterprise Test Management including a strong knowledge of NFR Test Management.
  • Management of multi-vendor on-shore/near-shore/off-shore teams;
  • Experience of managing all NFR test phases: (OAT, Security, Performance);
  • Experience with application performance management and IT operations analytics
  • Proven and advanced relationship management and engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to Director level of the organisation;
  • Experience in an IT consultancy or Client Engagement and Management
  • Understanding Enterprise Architecture and Design
  • Understanding of Secure Web Communications and Technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Network Protocols
  • Knowledge of Database tuning and SQL


*Based in Slough with UK travel
