The Role

As part of our growth Agenda we have a significant investment program running for the next few years aiming at making a step change in the growth of the business. We are currently seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our UK Finance team initially on 6 month fixed term contract. The role is reports to the Financial, Planning and Analysis Manager and works closely with the rest of the Finance Team both offshore and onshore. The role is highly visible working with senior business leaders including the Head of R&D, CFO and COO.

The Opportunity

  • Ensure the Investment Leaders have a full understanding of the financial impact of each investment and deliver support that helps to fuel growth and profitability
  • Work closely with the Investment Leaders to track and report on monthly, quarterly and annual performance versus forecast and budget. Provide regular insightful reporting, analysis and interpretation of their results for the Monthly Business Reviews
  • Produce Investment leads monthly forecasts
  • Support the month end process, results review and make adjustments as required
  • Responsible for Investment program reporting to EMEA Finance
  • Model new partnerships to ensure costs and returns are understood
  • Track funding and costs for R&D and other internal projects
  • Support recharging to sister companies
  • Ensure the business operates within the financial controls and procedures set by the NTT DATA Group
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks and cover for other members of Finance Team when required

The Person

  • Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
  • Worked as a Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders   
  • Experience of reporting, budgets and forecasting in a Global Matrix environment
  • Experience of IT or services industry preferred
  • Communicate persuasively and articulately with senior stakeholders, and have the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial persons, to help achieve the desired results.
  • Strong organisation, planning and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable being “hands on” in SAP/Excel
  • Flexible to handle peaks in workload
