The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join us as we continue to grow our Public Services business unit. The Account Executive will deliver revenue through relationship building, creating sales opportunities and sales pipeline management, hitting revenue targets and on time delivery. The premise of the role is to build revenue through maintaining & growing existing relationships as well as establishing new opportunities based on NTT DATA’s core capabilities.

The Opportunity

  • The Account Executive will be accountable for solution development, competitive costing, commercial proposition integration and business case alignment.
  • Open, qualify and close sales opportunities, handing over to the relevant delivery team once the opportunity has been captured.
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving services sales in accounts prospecting, negotiating and closing deals..
  • They will be a key client influencer to determine their requirements in complex and often ambiguous environments.
  • They will bring an up to date understanding and point of view of the current and future trends within their industry

The Person

  • The successful candidate will be an experienced Account Executive who has worked on new business sales in the region of £5m.
  • A proven track record of significantly growing Central Government Departments (experience of the large Departments e.g. DWP, HMRC, Home Office would be advantageous).
  • This role would suit a ‘rising star’ in sales within Government, who is focused and has the ability to hold strong relationships.
  • A team player with great energy who is focussed sharply on success and beyond.
  • Wants to grow and flourish in an entrepreneurial environment
