The Role

We are looking for a Senior UI Developer to join NTT DATA in a permanent role. You will be joining a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining front-end code and content on various areas of a commercial site. The Front-End Developer role is a wholly technical role that requires specific technical skills and experience to build and maintain code across the site.

The Opportunity

  • Hands on development of front-end code that delivers on performance and maintainability across the site
  • Ability to lead on best coding practices to create compliant and well thought out code
  • Provide accurate timing estimates on work and communicate to senior stakeholders effectively
  • Ensuring documentation for core functionality is completed
  • Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies

The Person

  • Advanced HTML and CSS is essential (HTML5/CSS3/LESS)
  • Exceptional JavaScript experience with an ability to hand code as well as debug and amend existing files (jQuery knowledge favoured)
  • Experience with responsive/adaptive design
  • Thorough knowledge of W3C and WCAG 2.0 standards
  • Experience with Photoshop and image manipulation
