The Girls’ Network is an award winning charity that matches girls between 14-19 years old from the least advantaged communities with professional female mentors from all walks of life. They believe that no girl should have their future limited by their background, gender or parental income, and that all girls should be able to realise their ambitions and their capacity to shape their world.
The Girls' Network began in 2012, and was founded by two teachers in London who were particularly shocked by the low expectations the girls had of themselves and their futures. Now the charity has a network of over 1000 women and girls and are still growing fast.
In 2016 we launched our first mentoring programme with The Girls’ Network, and we are really excited to be involved. We currently have 15 NTT DATA mentors matched with 15 girls, who are working together for 12 months of 1:1 mentoring.
