As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will be part of the Solution & Design community within the NTT DATA Salesforce Practice across UK & Ireland, working alongside Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, and Delivery teams.
As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role across the full lifecycle — from presales and solution shaping through to delivery oversight and client engagement — ensuring solutions are aligned to both industry-specific needs and Salesforce platform best practices.
Note you must either have Full UK Security Clearance (SC) or be able to attain it to be eligible for this role.
What you'll be doing:
As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that deliver tangible business value while ensuring technical integrity and scalability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead the design of end-to-end Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, Data)
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures
- Ensure alignment with client enterprise architecture and industry best practices
- Cross-Industry & Platform Expertise
- Apply industry knowledge to shape relevant, outcome-driven solutions
- Design solutions that leverage the full breadth of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem
- Balance standard platform capabilities with tailored extensions where appropriate
- Presales & Solution Shaping
- Support presales activities including discovery, solutioning, and proposal development
- Contribute to effort estimation, commercials, and solution storytelling
- Present solutions confidently to client stakeholders
- Architecture Governance & Delivery Oversight
- Provide architectural guidance and governance throughout delivery
- Ensure solutions are implemented as designed and meet quality standards
- Act as a key escalation point for design-related challenges
- Integration & Data Strategy
- Define integration approaches across Salesforce and enterprise systems
- Ensure robust data models, data flows, and governance are in place
- Collaborate with Technical Architects on complex integration patterns
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with Technology & Engineering, Delivery, and Industry teams
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, architecture, and delivery execution
- Contribute to a unified and consistent approach across engagements
- Client Engagement & Advisory
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and architecture reviews
- Provide strategic guidance on Salesforce adoption and roadmap
- Best Practice & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to development of reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, capabilities, and industry trends
- Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team
What experience you'll bring:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect within a consulting or enterprise environment
- Strong expertise across Salesforce platform and multi-cloud solutions (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, Agentforce Data Cloud)
- Experience delivering end-to-end solutions across complex transformation programmes
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, data architecture, and enterprise systems
- Experience supporting presales, solution shaping, and client presentations
- Ability to balance business requirements with technical constraints and platform capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical audiences
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect / System Architect) highly desirable
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Clearance: Security Clearance will be required for this role. Candidates to confirm if they have / are willing to be cleared. Please also provide confirmation of current or previous SC clearance.
