We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic Employee Relations team within the People & Couture function. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly support our people-focused culture.

You’ll be based in London two days a week, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time. Given the nature of Employee Relations, workloads can fluctuate, so we’re seeking someone who is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

Role Purpose

The Senior Employee Relations Lead plays a critical role in managing complex employee relations matters, coaching line managers, and ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policy. This role supports the delivery of a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture through expert case management, policy leadership, and strategic collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management

- Lead on complex and high-risk ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, long-term sickness, and performance management.
- Manage flexible working requests, changes to terms and conditions, and exit processes.
- Ensure all casework is documented, legally compliant, and resolved in a timely and fair manner.

Advisory and Coaching

- Provide expert advice to line managers and HR Business Partners on ER issues and employment law.
- Coach managers on best practices in people management and conflict resolution.
- Support the delivery of ER training and capability-building initiatives.

Policy and Process Leadership

- Contribute to the design and refresh of ER policies, ensuring alignment with legal standards and organisational values.
- Lead or support investigations, whistleblowing cases, and Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
- Identify ER trends and recommend proactive interventions to mitigate risk.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Partner with Commercial Teams, Legal, Compliance, and other Centres of Excellence to ensure consistent and aligned ER practices.
- Escalate cases appropriately while maintaining ownership of resolution pathways.
- Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures, TUPE, and redundancy processes.

TUPE Management

- Lead on the employee relations aspects of TUPE transfers, including due diligence, consultation planning, and post-transfer integration.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and support affected employees and managers throughout the process.

Redundancy Consultation

- Lead collective and individual redundancy consultation processes in compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Prepare consultation documentation including scripts, FAQs, and outcome letters.
- Coordinate with Legal, P&C Business Partners, and senior leadership to ensure consistent messaging and risk mitigation.
- Support affected employees with empathy and professionalism, ensuring access to appropriate resources and support.
- Maintain accurate records of consultation meetings and outcomes.

 

What experience you'll bring:

 

  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of UK and/or Ireland employment law; EMEA experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing complex ER cases with discretion and professionalism.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading TUPE processes and Commercial negotiations internally and with external clients
  • Experience dealing with Union negotiations
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and trends to inform ER strategy and decision-making.
  • High emotional intelligence and resilience in handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to create and manage all internal employee communications, including but not limited to formal case management outcome letters and other formal letters
