We are currently recruiting for dynamic Security Advisory & Presales Consultant to join our growing client advisory & delivery business.

What you'll be doing:

Using your Security delivery background and knowledge, but able to operate at an client executive advisory level to support our clients by;

  • Spending between 1-3 days a week helping us shape client requirements in the presales & sales phase, with your remaining time spent working within billable client delivery roles, leading Security delivery teams & providing leadership / advisory services to our clients.
  • Work within different industry sectors and agreed timelines to evaluate, define & / or recommend solutions, services and outcomes in-line with your Security SME domain area.
  • Leverage your core competence and delivery knowledge of Security standards, laws, regulations, frameworks and good practices to support Security outcomes.
  • Identify & Develop;
    • Opportunities, leads and new business by recognising Client needs and drivers for Security technology & services
    • Lead response teams within the Security sales and pre-sales; ether as part of a formal procurement (e.g. RFx) or in support of a proactive targeted campaign
    • Security requirements, functional & non-functional
    • Gaps, issues, assumptions and failings in the client Security landscape.
    • Client needs in terms of; outcomes, stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation & management.
  • Define & Manage;
    • In Sales & Presales Phase:
      • Demos and proof of concept, and defining solution specifications
      • Complex Bid Responses, Partnership models, Solution & Service strategies, as well as detailed bottom up pricing models.   
      • Your own content, as well as orchestrating and aligning content from others
      • The coordination plans for aligning a range of Security technologies or Services / business functions
      • Appropriate Bid; assumptions, dependencies, objectives, risks and targets.
    • In Delivery Phase:
      • Your own delivery content, as well as orchestrate and align content from others
      • Delivery recommendation, metrics, and processes to achieve client objectives and targets
      • Security environment objectives and targets, inc. change Impact & Risk
      • Work with other teams to agree Implementation plans and effort
  • Oversee, evaluate, and support;
    • Discovery, audits and run, for the extraction of findings
    • Documentation, validation, assessment, and authorisation
    • Relationships with both clients and internal SMEs
    • Definition, Creation and GTM of new services and solutions
    • The quality of SME deliverables input and  in the securing of products / services.
    • Optimisation of knowledge; creating quality content that can be reused, building continual improvement into our assets

What experience you'll bring:

  • A strong communicator, capable of generating written material of extremely high quality and presenting confidently (even at times when not primed).
  • Strong presales commercial understanding, have designed & delivered using a range of different financial delivery models and be able to plant the balancing of client financial and budgetary constraints with customer aspirations and requirements.
  • Comfortable with a wide range of Security solutions, services and technologies, having a broad Security perspective.
  • At the same time have deep SME knowledge in one or more of the following domain areas:
    • IDAM
    • Cloud Security
    • Enterprise Security Architecture
    • OT & IoT
    • AI Security
    • Managed Security Services
    • Data Privacy & Regulations
  • Comfortable and confident to operate in demanding situations / fast-changing environments, quickly forming and leading new teams, bringing organisation and structure where there is ambiguity, building strong working relationships, whilst still having relentless drive to deliver with enthusiasm.
  • You must be a great visual storyteller, able to bring solutions to life to help our customers understand and embrace the value of change, services & technologies.
  • Applied knowledge of concepts and principles of 'Secure by Design' and 'Zero Trust' 
  • Hold relevant and recognised professional Security & Security Technology certifications that supports the role & your SMEs space.
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
