The Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Back end Java Software Engineer to join one of our large Telco clients. 

The Opportunity

  • Build product feature using Java and JavaScript to serve the product objectives and key results. 
  • Enthusiastic about software quality to solve complex problems and delivery value.
  • Understand the business goal and contribute by building software incrementally. 
  • Following best engineering practices like TDD and XP practices 
  • Use a variety of frameworks, languages and tools to build

The Person

  • Strong background working in Java 8 with AspectJ and Maven
  • Good working knowledge with Spring Framework including AOP, Boot, Cloud, JDBC, MVC and Security 
  • Experience working with one of the relational databases such as Postgre SQL, Oracle & Amazon RDS. 
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Hazelcast, OpenShift or Redis would be highly preferred
  • Experience delivering software using continous integration with Jenkins, Test-Driven Development with JUnit, Agile Software Development and practical experience of extreme programming, Kanban and Scrum
  • Experience with any of the following front end skills with Vanilla JavaScript, AngularJS, React, or TypeScript would be highly preferred
