The Role

NTT DATA currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to work as part of our growing Client Service and Support team as a representative to our customers for all service and support issues.

The focus of this role will be working with external customers and internal teams to ensure operational and service excellence is proactively managed and maintained. 

The Opportunity

• Develop strong relationships with key team members across multiple levels of the customer’s organisation

• Understand the customer’s IT / business organization, goals and priorities

• Act as an escalation point for resolution of ongoing incidents and problems

• Organise and chair appropriate service review meetings

• Identify opportunities for business development and growth from the given account

• Engage in contract renewal negotiations  and ensure customer’s service catalogue is maintained

• Ensure knowledge of implemented solutions and new services are effectively transitioned

• Manage supplier relationships with third party providers as required

The Person

The successful candidate will be a natural and articulate communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.  They will have substantial experience within an external customer facing Service Delivery Management role managing a portfolio of services in line with agreed Service Level Agreements using standard ITIL processes.  

• Strong experience in a customer facing Service Delivery / Account Management role

• Track record of delivering services to defined service levels.

• Ability to ‘take ownership’ of issues without prompting

• Strong analysis capability and ability to drive process improvement

• ITIL Foundation v3 is a minimum requirement

 

*Travel required to client sites across the UK
