The Role

NTT DATA UK are hiring an End User Computing Consultant to provide support to staff primarily in our two London offices (Bank and Old street). Use solution expertise to enable services for end users, operations and office systems. Use technology to delivery enhanced services for EMEA and standardise them across the region. 

The Opportunity

EUC Support

  • Escalation point for difficult / high impact IT incidents for particular hardware, software or platform
  • Root cause analysis, and identification/development of preventative measures for recurring issues
  • Installs and maintains complex hardware / software systems and supporting large user groups
  • Assist in selection and evaluation of hardware and software for EUC use
  • Analyzes business needs and recommends ways to optimize EUC hardware resources in achieving business objectives.

Systems and technologies

  • Automation of the deployment of services, EUC devices and provision of EUC support
  • Delivering Specialist expertise within EUC (eg ITSM, Automation/Scripting, O365, AV/VC/UC)
  • Helping develop, enhance and maintain the above across EMEA IT
  • Working with other EMEA EUC teams to implement standardised EUC/Office technology and solutions to best practices
  • Works as part of EMEA technical team to implement EMEA projects in UK and across EMEA

The Person

  • Significant experience providing quality service to user community and effectively manage business needs
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced understanding of network and server/desktop administration, installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of processes and resources required to perform analytical and technical tasks on PC systems, with knowledge of LAN server systems as well.
  • Applies advanced understanding of customer service techniques as required to address PC problems.
  • Interest in IT and technology
