The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, supporting one of our established Telco Media clients.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers and project teams to understand strategic business objectives and the key drivers. 

The Opportunity

  • Deliver detailed business analysis and requirements on small-medium size projects using predetermined methods to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost, risk and time in order to effectively support the change required by the business.
  • Validate scope and agree with Lead Business Analysts all appropriate analysis activities on a project, including the detailed output documentation required
  • Conducts detailed business analysis using appropriate tools and techniques e.g. business process improvement and ongoing benefits analysis
  • Extract, document and manage business requirements and then manage the requirement traceability through out the development life cycle.
  • Accurately assesses and effectively communicates the impact of business, operational and technical change to stakeholders
  • Proactively works with others to ensure successful delivery of analysis deliverables, providing regular status reports and an up-to-date view of resource utilisation and requirements, as well as providing input to benefits and solution identification and determine key issues, risks and contingencies.

The Person

  • Experience of conducting a similar Business Analyst role in a multi-disciplined, commercial environment
  • Familiarity with a variety of business analysis tools and techniques, along with a good understanding and / or experience of development lifecycles
  • Ability to produce high quality, detailed and thorough analysis documentation in order to present information effectively and clearly to stakeholders, with excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to resolve issues at all levels of management
  • Working towards, or have attained, an ISEB Business Analysis Diploma or an IIBA Certificate of Competency or equivalent
