The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach to join our established engineering team, supporting one of our long term, high profile, telecoms clients on site in Uxbridge, Middlesex.

The Opportunity

  • Be a true servant leader, coaching the Product Team(s) in self-organisation and cross-functionality
  • Facilitate team ceremonies as requested or needed and provide feedback to the team(s)
  • Work with the team to help them understand the processes and mindsets required for the delivery of successful outcomes
  • Work with other team facilitators and Agile Coaches helping to drive cultural change and increase effectiveness using a variety of agile methodologies
  • Help Identify, and holds the team to account, where improvement in approach or outcome is possible
  • Guide the Product Owner in their responsibilities and maximise value

The Person

  • Extensive experience of conducting similar roles, playing a Team Facilitator/Scrum Master role across multiple teams within an agile environment applying agile / lean principles, practices and theory. Ideally with telecoms domain experience.
  • Have excellent skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, continuous improvement, outcome based delivery, empowerment, self-organisation and ways to increase transparency
  • Have experience with agile transformations, coaching teams / business towards maturity and evangelising agile / lean principles
  • Have at least first level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) ideally CSP, PSM II, demonstrable experience with a lean / outcome based agile approach and any other relevant agile qualifications and training
  • A pro-active, self-motivated, confident person with good organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail - must be able to engage all levels and fit into the team and organisation culture
  • Ability to be diplomatic while in negotiations and troubleshooting
