The Role

NTT DATA UK are hiring an Automation tester responsible to deliver the automation testing framework for the charging testing of Online Charging System (OCS). 

The Opportunity

  • Help delivers automation framework for charging testing.
  • Develops the automation test strategy for the Charging testing of OCS products.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Provide technical guidance to the team members and project peers
  • Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement in framework/tool.
  • Work on strategy and help set direction while staying on top of the day-to-day work
  • Work cross-functionally with partner technology and business teams to deliver automation framework
  • Coordinate with external vendors for timely and accurate test execution
  • Identify dependencies, constraints, risks and issues

The Person

  • Sound test process knowledge and expertise in testing life cycle
  • Relevant domain / industry experience
  • Familiarity in different development methodologies – Waterfall, Agile, etc.
  • Experience in working on with database/SQL or ETL
  • Exposure/Working Knowledge to Test Automation, Automation tools and frameworks
  • Technical experience in the telecommunication domain
  • Good Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE/VoWiFi N/W Architecture.
  • Experience working with real-time network technology - for example Intelligent Networks, pre-paid services, real-time mediation, charging or policy.
  • Technical expertise and achievement in Online Charging System (OCS) Testing
  • Telecom Applications and Systems (IN, OCS, PCRF, DRA)
  • Telecom Network Interfaces for Online Charging (Ro, Ro+, Sy and Gy)
  • Knowledge of Open vSwitch, VLAN & VxLAN functionality, NetFlow.
  • Knowledge of Layer2 bridging, Link Aggregation, QoS policies
  • Understanding of CoAP and EXI protocols stacks
  • IT and WEB Service Protocols (DIAMETER, SOAP, REST, HTTP)
  • Scripting languages (Python, Perl)
  • Knowledge of HPQC, Load Runner, QTP & Selenium.
  • OS and Programming (LINUX, Java, other object oriented languages)
  • Product / software life-cycle concepts

*Based in London with travel to client sites (mainly Slough)

*37.5 hours per week
