The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master to join our established development team, supporting one of our long term, high profile, telecoms clients on site in London.

The Opportunity

  • Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
  • Setting up scrum ceremonies and facilitating discussions, enabling ease of decision making and conflict resolution
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving
  • Create appropriate metrics for the Agile team

The Person

  • Experience of working in a similar role on Agile projects, with a strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc and then the coaching of these.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of software development processes and procedures including SDLC, to understand the team needs, as well as a good understanding of the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Agile artefacts
  • Experience and knowledge with and of the value of metrics and incremental delivery
