The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Finance to join us within our EMEA Team.

The role will include Business Partnering for EMEA Directors and supporting the Group management and financial reporting process within the EMEA Group ultimately reporting to our Tokyo based parent company.

The Opportunity

  • Provide IFRS technical accounting support to the CFO and wider EMEA Group.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic and business decisions.
  • Work with the Group consolidation team to ensure compliance with documented processes.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the EMEA Group.
  • Conduct balance sheet and working capital reviews across the Group.
  • Ad hoc projects including Group policy writing, process design and systems improvements.

The Person

  • Strong technical accounting and group reporting background including multi-currency consolidations.
  • Experienced user of Excel based reporting tools (e.g. SAP BPC, Hyperion etc.), along with strong financial modelling experience.
  • Strong understanding of p&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience of Team management within a matrix managed environment
  • Used to working in fast paced, unstructured and changing environment
  • Knowledge and experience of working within the Technology arena.
  • Experience in systems improvement projects.
