The Role

Our requirement is for an Incident Management/Service Co-ordinator to join our established team and to take responsibility for the management, co-ordination and reporting of the patching function on behalf of NTT DATA to its clients. This role will support the Service Assurance team in the Service Operations Centre based in Solihull. The role will be reporting into the Service Operations Manager and will be accountable for co-ordinating all patching requirements.

The Opportunity

  • As the primary point of contact for customers, the role is responsible for facilitating patching within the customer requested timeframes and to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction.
  • Understand the Customer’s system and provide accurate and timely planning for system patching tasks along with managing the agreed patching schedule
  • Manage the agreed baseline equipment schedule.
  • Drive the completion of the schedule through with the technical teams
  • Review customer setup and work with technical teams to propose the best patching method.
  • Produce both internal and external reports on patching status.

The Person

  • Previous Experience of a similar role within an IT Services organisation - Required
  • Strong MS Excel skills for reporting - Required
  • Service Now Experience - Ideal
  • ITIL Foundation - Ideal
